To help avoid slowed performance when you update code, Apple’s Swift team has open sourced its benchmark suite of tools for developers. Designed to “catch performance regressions before they are committed,” the Swift benchmark suite has 75 different benchmarks with core libraries for benchmarking functions. A dedicated utility for comparing performance across Swift builds is also included, as is a driver for displaying your performance metrics.
