Is DHgate legit? Is DHgate reliable? Is DHgate safe? Before starting this DHgate Review, I should admit that I’m not objective when writing this review. Because I’m writing this article just after experiencing to lose 40.000 us dollars on DHgate. And after a long process I should say that the DHgate customer service is also so irresponsible.
I don’t understand how they make the rating system. I always bought from the top sellers and the sellers advised by the dhgate customer service but they all have wasted my time.
Here is my last 15 order history within a month: / I have ordered all with DHL 3-5 day shipping option.
US $ 12529.28 – Order NO:254827120 – Has said to ship out on May 2. Failed to ship out even after 10 days.
US $ 1351.00 – Order NO:338408850 – Has said to ship out in a day in messages. Failed to ship out even in 10 days.
US $ 9500.00 – Order NO:338340411 – Has said to ship out in 48 hours in messages. Failed to ship out even in 10 days.
US $ 1260.00 – Order NO:338416040 – Wrong tracking- 2017-02-27 12:33:00 MUNICH – GERMANY- My address is USA, tracking code is Germany, and 3 months earlier delivered item code.
US $ 2360.00 – Order NO:338413364 – Has said to ship out in a day. Wrong tracking id.Failed to ship out even after 10 days.
US $ 537.00 – Order NO:338332811 – Has said to ship out in a business day. Wrong tracking id. Failed to ship out even after 10 days.
US $ 1230.00 – Order NO:255090507 – Has said to ship out in a day. Wrong tracking id. Failed to ship out even after 10 days.
US $ 1370.00 – Order NO:338319994 – Has said to ship out in a day. Wrong tracking id. Failed to ship out even after 10 days.
US $ 8690.00 – Order NO:338319693 – Advised by customer service. Failed to ship out on time. Wrong tracking id. Failed to ship out even after 10 days.
US $ 2010.00 – Order NO:338319766- Failed to ship out on time. Wrong tracking id.
US $ 2310.00 – Order NO:338319765 – Failed to ship out on time. Wrong tracking id.
US $ 1140.00 – Order NO:255081462- Said to ship out in a day. Failed to ship. Asked for 200 dollars more to ship out.
US $ 1210.00 – Order NO:338313400 – Failed to ship out on time. Wrong tracking id.
US $ 3590.00 – Order NO:338219582 – Failed to ship on time. Just 500 pcs items have arrived. 1000 pcs is still waiting. The order seems all arrived on the system. Has said to ship out in 3 days. But the just 500 pcs has arrived after 15 days.

DHgate Estimated Shipping Time Problem
DHgate almost ruined my wedding. Ordered my wedding dress on March 6 and expected it to arrive not later than April 1st. Emailed Seller three times requesting status and got ambiguous response “don’t worry, my friend” and nothing else. Dress finally arrived on my porch late evening of April 17th! With my wedding scheduled for April 23 (less than a week away) my panic was off the charts. Dress’s actual measurements did not match what was posted on the website (I’m size 4 and the dress was size 6). Rush alterations costed twice more than the dress, not to mention the aggravation. Would be cheaper and easier to order through David’s Bridal.

You can’t send anything to customer service, or reach them as they’re never available. Many sellers don’t respond to messages. And, shipping is horrendously slow; even for overseas, China. They allow A WHOLE LOT of scammers, and illegal practices from ALL stores. They will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING if a storefront steals from you, or scams you. I’ve learned that you get what you ask for shopping in china!

christian Cooper-Illingworth : App works fine, the sellers on here do not, I’ve made 3 purchases and been scammed 3 times, item sent not as in photo and description, no item sent but a fake tracking number provided twice. No customer service at all except a robot. If you do buy off this app then use a credit card. But if I were you I wouldn’t buy from here at all.

I ordered bags from Harmonyellen and never received them. The customer service is horrible and I don’t like the fact that they make you jump through so many hoops to get your money back. The seller response to me not receiving my order, just really ticks me off. But I can’t do anything but contact my bank. I would never ever recommend them to anyone. Keep your money and go somewhere else to buy your products.

Signed up and tried placing an order. Their system kicks it back each time saying some error. I called them and they say to check with my credit card company. My credit company says everything is perfect on my card and my end. She said it is kicked back because of a wrong address for billing. I have made sure about 10 times everything is correct and still doesn’t work. I contact dhgate again. And this time they want me to do a bank transfer? Really? Sound like a scam to me.

DHgate lost my money: Order not received, money paid to supplier

One of my first orders was never received but DHGate closed the order and paid the supplier in full after 120 days. I had email evidence proving I’d been chasing the order but apparently this is not enough. DHGate told me I had to get an approval for a refund in writing from the supplier. Needless to say the supplier ignored my request and now I’ve lost my money. Will never buy from DHGate again.

If the people selling would respond to refund requests it would be a lot better!! And there’s no customers service you can contact right away. Yes they have a 24/7 service but it takes them a while to respond. And they have no co trip over the sellers ripping you off.

It’s ok until you need a refund due to not receiving your order. You can’t get a straight answer and they make it a challenge to do so, that much of one that you give up trying to get your money back. Customs sent my order back to the seller, I only found out as it was past delivery date and asked the seller where my order was.

Ordered 2 dresses for approx$75 each. Neither was as expected (poor quality) and one of them was completely see through and seams on both sleeves were torn. I had a problem uploading my evidence photos so was instructed to send them directly to the dh gate customer service email address which I did 3 times. No acknowledgement for a week. They are horrible and these dresses might be worth $25/each MAYBE. First and last time ordering from them.

“Beware!! KissBridal is a fraudulent seller.”
Read reviews must all be fake and purchased a dress for a wedding. The dress was not the color I ordered, it had sequences all over it and the dress was sewn terribly actually defective in that you could not even walk in the dress because it was sewn wrong.
Followed the instructions to return the product on the DH Gate website and that was a joke.. right away the seller said ok keep for a discount obviously they do this all the time and it is a scam. The seller was sketchy and kept calling me dear and gave me a different address to return the product to so I was nervous I would never get my credit. Obviously they know if you buy the product you will not return it because of the cost to return it so they send you junk so they can say they send something and the buyer/customer is out the money!!! By the time I pay for postage to send the dress back it would be almost the cost of the dress not worth it. DH Gate claims they will help with disputes but that is not the truth. The amount of time I have spent disputing this purchase and trying to get my money back has been ridiculous. As far as I am concerned the entire website is a scam.. buyer beware – this site (DH Gate) is a fraudulent site – pray on foreigners by sending them junk!!!!!
