GoPro launched a new line of products including the all new GoPro Hero 5 and Hero 5 Session during a live-stream on Facebook on Monday at Squaw Valley Resort in California. The company also announced several other ground-breaking products including; Karma, a GoPro engineered drone that is touted to have “Hollywood stability anywhere you take it.” They also announced Quick Key which is a smartphone card reader and revealed all the new functions of these cameras and accessories.

According to Transworld, Nick Woodman, founder and CEO of GoPro, hosted the live-stream with incredible energy and was visibly stoked for the launch.

“Hero 5 Black is the GoPro we’ve always wanted to make, and it’s taken 14 years, but we’re here,” gleaned Woodman about the new camera.

GoPro is saying the Hero 5 is “simply the best GoPro ever” because it includes 4K video, voice control, is waterproof, has a touch screen and is very easy to use.

The Hero 5 Session is one of the most bombproof cameras made to date and comes in a small, but powerful package that’s very user friendly with a one-touch button.

In addition to these cameras, GoPro also unveiled the Karma drone, which is compatible with the Hero 5 and Hero 5 Session. The drone is super portable, boosts hollywood level stabilization and may change the way we capture snowboarding. It does not include an auto-follow function, but is made with a detachable gimbal.
