Tech Columnist DAVID SNELLING published an article on the New Nokia 3310…

Nokia announced it was relaunching its classic 3310 back in February.

This rebooted feature phone includes a bigger colour screen, updated design that’s more durable and a rear camera – something owners of the original could only dream of.

THERE IS ALSO AN INCREDIBLE MONTH LONG BATTERY LIFE

There’s also an incredible month-long battery life and the inclusion of fully refreshed Snake game.

The original Nokia 3310 was one of the biggest selling phones ever and the interest in this updated phone looks set to continue that success.

According to data from Carphone Warehouse the Nokia 3310 has seen ten times more pre-registration interest than any of the other flagship devices revealed this year.

Carphone Warehouse’s Andrew Wilson said that there had been, “an astonishing groundswell of interest in the Nokia 3310” following its unveiling.

WITH THE EXCITEMENT AROUND THIS PHONE GROWING

With the excitement around this phone growing, HMD Global who are behind the relaunch, have annouced when fans will be able to get hold of the phone.

In a interview, Tomislav Himbele, Head of Marketing for Eastern Europe at HMD Global confirmed that the Nokia 3310 will arrive in the UK during the end of Q2.

The 3310 will launch alongside three of Nokia’s other new phones including the Nokia 3, 5 and 6.

All of these devices should be available to buy around the end of May or early June with the phones ranging in price from €49 for the 3310 to six €229 for the Nokia 6.

Although the 3310 will launch in May or June it’s currently unclear if Nokia will be able to keep up with demand.

Other smartphone manufacturers, including Apple, have sometimes struggled to have enough devices ready at launch, meaning some fans have had to wait months to get hold of one.
