LG WILL START SELLING THE G6 ON MARCH 10 TH
Samsung, expected to unveil the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 on March 29th, will start selling the phone in Korea on April 21st. A preorder date for the next Galaxy S flagship isn’t available at this time, but April 13th is one likely possibility.
SAMSUNG WANTED TO LAUNCH THE GALAXY S8 GLOBALLY ON APRIL
The report does note that Samsung wanted to launch the Galaxy S8 globally on April 21st, and in Korea on April 14th. Preorders were initially planned for the week of April 6th. But Samsung changed its mind to make sure there’s enough Galaxy S8 stock to go around. The news was apparently confirmed by a high-ranking official at a mobile network provider, but Samsung is yet to reveal any launch details for the phone.
One factor that could further influence Samsung’s decision regarding Galaxy S8 preorders is the G6. Depending on the initial response to LG’s upcoming flagship, Samsung may decide to push forward preorders for the phone.
