According to the Express.co, with Samsung set to reveal all on its new flagship device at an event in New York next Wednesday, anticipation is continuing to build.
The Galaxy S8 is due to sport a completely revamped design, with all physical buttons removed to the rear of the device, as well as some seriously intelligent new software.
Now, it seems that the device will also come with one of the most intelligent new features set not just for Samsung’s new device, but the upcoming iPhone 8 as well.
THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S8 IS SET TO FEATURE AN ALL NEW LOOK
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is set to feature an all-new look, with the company reportedly set to make major changes to its new device.
The device is set to come with an 5.8in Quad HD OLED display that should be brighter and more colourful than any Samsung device to have come before.
The display will also be curved on one side, to allow the device to show off notifications and alerts without crowding your home screen.
Samsung is also rumoured to be launching a 6.2-inch QHD AMOLED display model, marketed as the Galaxy S8 Plus.
But now it seems that the Galaxy S8’s screen will also represent a major step forward, thanks to a breakthrough from the company’s Samsung Display arm.
Reports have claimed the company is working on a new display with built-in pressure-sensitive technology similar to Apple’s 3D Touch.
According to South Korean news site The Investor, Samsung showed off the technology at Mobile World Congress last month to select VIPs, suggesting it is now at a significantly advanced stage of development.
