SAMSUNG Galaxy S8 could get a release date as early as next month but another leaked image may have already revealed all about this new smartphone.
THIS NEW DEVICE IS RUMOURED TO INCLUDE A POWERFUL NEW QUALCOMM PROCESSOR
This new device is rumoured to include a powerful new Qualcomm processor, a dual-curved display and upgraded front and rear cameras.
The S8 is expected to arrive in two sizes with users able to choose from a standard 5.8-inch Quad HD display or a larger 6.2-inch QHD AMOLED model called the S8 Plus.
Along with these changes to the display the S8 also looks set to ditch the physical home button and switch the fingerprint scanner to the rear of the device.
It’s currently unclear how users will interact without a home button although some reports suggest it will be embedded under the display.
Now some new leaked images appear to prove many of these rumours are true.
The image also shows that Samsung could be keeping its always-on display which first appeared on last year’s Galaxy S7.
Although the tweet doesn’t the show the base of the device it appears there is a space for a headphone port – something Apple ditched on its latest iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.
THE REAR CAMERA BUMP ALSO APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN REDUCED AND TWO CAMERAS…
The rear camera bump also appears to have been reduced and two cameras on the front of the phone could indicate iris scanning technology.
There’s no official word on when the Korean tech giant will unveil its new Galaxy S8 but it has confirmed it won’t be lifting the lid at Mobile World Congress.
Samsung usually reveals all at MWC, which takes place next week, but this year it appears only a new tablet will be on show.

And to spoil LG’s party, Blass has also included an image of the upcoming LG G6 alongside the Galaxy S8 in his most recent tweet.
The latest flagship smartphone from LG will be unveiled on-stage during an event this Sunday.
If the latest leaks are accurate, LG has definitively abandoned the modular design that made its previous flagship phone, the LG G5, stand out amongst the crowd.
LG HAS PRIORITISED INDUSTRIAL DESIGN FOR THE LG G6
Instead, it appears LG has prioritised industrial design for the LG G6.
The phone is expected to be made entirely from metal and glass – a departure from the leather and plastic that characterised the Korean company’s previous flagship smartphones.
A dual camera can also be seen in the image along with a fingerprint scanner on the rear of the device.
Express.co.uk will be in Barcelona for MWC and will bring all the news live as it happens.
