Tech Columnist Dominik Bosnjak published an article on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3
Two new leaks depicting the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 have surfaced online on Monday. The images show Samsung’s upcoming Android tablet from both the front and the back and seemingly discredit recently leaked renders that suggested the Galaxy Tab S3 will feature a curved display similar to the one present on the Galaxy S7 Edge. The images depicting a supposed Galaxy Tab S3 with a curved display panel surprised most industry watchers, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they turn out to be fake. More information on the device will likely follow later this week as the South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer is expected to unveil the Galaxy Tab S3 in the run-up to this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. Latest leaks that are supposedly showing the device can be seen in the gallery below.
RECENT REPORTS SUGGEST THAT THE COMPANY’S NEXT ANDROID TABLET WILL SPORT A 9.7 INCH DISPLAY
Recent reports suggest that the company’s next Android tablet will sport a 9.7-inch display and be powered by the Snapdragon 820 system-on-chip (SoC) and 4GB of RAM. The tablet will allegedly launch in two versions boasting the model numbers SM-T820 and SM-T825. The former will likely be a base, Wi-Fi-only model, while the latter is expected to be an LTE-enabled device. Furthermore, the Galaxy Tab S3 is said to be available in two storage options featuring 32GB and 64GB of internal storage. Recent rumors suggest that Samsung’s latest tablet will be equipped with a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter, while an alleged manual for the device that was leaked yesterday indicates that the tablet will support Qualcomm’s Fast Charge 2.0. Finally, previous benchmark listings suggest that the Galaxy Tab S3 will run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, presumably with Samsung’s proprietary user interface on top.
