There’s just two weeks to go until Samsung reveals all about its new Galaxy S8 smartphone.

The flagship device will be unveiled at a major Unpacked event in London on March 29th and rumours suggest this will be one of the best smartphones ever made.

It’s thought two devices will be released with an S8 and larger S8+ model both featuring a curved AMOLED display, faster processor and improved cameras.

Samsung teased its new phones during its Galaxy Tab S3 tablet event at Mobile World Congress and now it’s given fans another sneak peak at its new phones.

The latest video was released by Samsung in Korea and seems to finally confirm the S8 will be called the S8.

Until now, its name has only been rumoured but this latest short video appears to suggest what many already knew.

ITS THOUGHT SAMSUNG HAS RELEASED THE TRAILER DUE TO LG’s NEW GS SMARTPHONE

It’s thought Samsung has released the trailer due to LG’s new G6 smartphone attracting a huge amount of attention.

Speaking to the The Korea Herald, a top analyst has suggested Samsung wants to get the spotlight well and truly off the LG G6.

This giant display, dubbed FullVision, has been made possible by both slimming down the phone’s framing, hosting the fingerprint scanner on the rear and moving to a new, longer, 18:9 aspect ratio.

This has created a screen that features a stunning 2880 x 1440 pixel resolution and offers 1 billion colours.

The LG G6 is also water resistant and has a dual camera which allows users to take wide-angle photos.

Unlike the iPhone 7 Plus that brilliantly pairs a traditional lens with an additional telephoto lens, the LG G6 has gone in the opposite direction, pairing a standard 71-degree lens with a 125-degree wide-angle effort perfect for capturing impactful landscapes.

LG has created a solid smartphone with its G6 and it could cause its Android rivals a few headaches.

After the problems of the Note 7, and with Apple just a few months away from revealing the iPhone 8, Samsung will want to make sure the Galaxy S8 is huge hit.
