Following the results of this week’s presidential election, there has been a rise in reports of violence and harassment related to the election of Donald Trump as the country’s next president. Nanjiani noted that he and Middleditch had gone out to a bar in Los Angles, where they were approached by a pair Trump supporters who proceeded to get in their faces before being kicked out by the establishment’s staff.

Nanjiani and Middleditch were both outspoken about their opposition to the president-elect throughout the campaign.

Since the results of this week’s election, there has been a rise in hate crimes and attacks. There have been wide-spread reports of racially motivated violence and intimidation, such as a group of black students at the University of Pennsylvania being subjected to racial slurs on GroupMe, while some Trump supporters have themselves been attacked for their support of the President-elect.
