Finding a way for robots to mimic, or even improve upon human movement is no easy task – which is why most use wheels, tracks or some other workaround that doesn’t require a highly complex task like walking. While the two-limbed robot unveiled by Alphabet-owned Schaft today may not look too impressive, it’s one hell of a feat of engineering.
