The express is reported that WHATSAPP users can now print their favourite chats with new book feature launching in the UK.

WhatsApp users are getting a new way to keep their most treasured messages.

A service has just been launched which offers fans of the world’s most popular messaging app the chance to have their words of wisdom printed in a book.

ZAPPTALES ALLOW MESSAGE THREADS TO BE EXPORTED

Zapptales allows message threads to be exported and turned into something a lot less digital.

Speaking about the service Zapptales founder, Daniel Vicen Renner, said: “The idea was created when my nephew was born and my sister and family were sharing so many messages and images on WhatsApp.

“We realised that we wanted a way to capture and keep these conversations, but there wasn’t a way to do it.

“So we created zapptales to provide a unique and simple way for anyone to save their digital memories in the real world.”

THE NEW FEATURE WORKS BY USERS EXPORTING THE MESSAGES

The new feature works by users exporting the messages they want printed and uploading them to German firm’s website.

The books can then be customised with background changed, pictures added and users can even design the cover of the book, including title and colour.

There are options for soft or hard back versions and there is no page limit to the books – in fact the longest one produced so far was 4000 pages, which made up 20 volumes.

Those who fancy having their WhatsApp messages turned into a book will have to pay £24.90 for the privilege plus there’s postage and packaging to paid

IF YOU THINK ITS AN ODD IDEA YOU MIGHT WE WRONG AS ZAPPTALES

And if you think it’s an odd idea you might be wrong as Zapptales says it has already sold over 10,000 books around the world.

WhatsApp is testing a number of official new features for future updates to its messaging app.

The latest beta update for the Facebook-owned app brings a new feature that promises to track your every movement.

Not only does the new update let WhatsApp know where you are at any given moment – but it will allow let your contacts see your current location, too.

Dubbed Live Location Tracking, the new feature will allow users to make their current location available to members of a chat or group conversation in real-time – helping friends find one another during meet-ups.

WhatsApp may also soon let users revoke, recall or edit messages that have already been delivered to contacts within the chat app.

The feature would allow users to edit – or completely revoke – messages sent by accident, as well any texts with cringe-inducing typos or content.

And that could save WhatsApp users a lot of embarrassment.

WhatsApp is currently trialling the new feature within its iPhone beta software.
